SeaPort-e Contract

On July 12, 2012 PORTAC was awarded a SeaPort-e prime contract number N00178‐12‐D‐7127 with the U.S. Navy.  SeaPort-e is the Navy's platform to acquire support services in multiple functional areas.  The SeaPort-e contract vehicle is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract open to Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).  Customers wishing to use this contract should visit the Navy's SeaPort-e site.

PORTAC's prime contract is capable of supporting customers in the following functional areas:

- Research & Development (R&D) Support
- Engineering Support
- Modeling 
- System Design Documentation/Technical Data
- Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RM&A)
- Configuration Management
- Information Systems/Information Assurance/Information Technology
- Interoperability/ Test & Evaluation/Trials
- Logistics Support
- Program Support
- Administrative Support

Quality Assurance:

PORTAC uses a planned and systematic approach to achieving quality by assessing and measuring performance against required objectives and thresholds.  PORTAC will provide this quality service to the Navy and Marine Corps through a continuous cycle of “Plan, Do, Check, and Act.”   This cycle, as described below, provides a framework for continuous process improvement that is the heart of our quality program.
